With over 20 years of success in business, including building companies from the ground up and driving growth in the solar power and energy efficiency markets, Michel has a history of technical and entrepreneurial expertise.
After graduating with a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Michel worked for 15 years at Granado Laboratorios – Phebo, Dr. SCHOLL as a Head of Supply Chain, Marketing Manager, and Export Manager where he restructured the supply chain, managed three product lines, and developed additional product lines for export.
In 2013, Michel co-founded a new company called INSOLAR, a successful social impact startup that installed hundreds of solar panels with the support of favela residents, sponsors, NGOs, solar enthusiasts, and other startups in Brazil. INSOLAR was the first company to have a photovoltaic energy project approved in the Energy Efficiency Program (PEE) of the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) and in the SENAI’s (National Service for Industrial Training) SESI (National Industry Social Service) Innovation Notice. The business went on to win various awards including first place in the first SEBRAE Social Business Marathon, first place in SENAI Grand Prix of Innovation, first place in the Shell LiveWIRE Program.
In 2019, Michel moved to the United States to start his business, Wow 1 Day Painting and became a franchisee with a strong revenue line and excellent reviews.
Using his previous experience with INSOLAR, academic degrees, and experience as an entrepreneur with Wow 1 Day Painting, Michel now launches a new venture, Fleming Energy, a franchise that provides B2B sustainable energy solutions, energy saving solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises.
